Connecting modern Technology with Tradition
The Lexus Design Award finalist Mettis Rings are the perfect confluence of heritage and the future. Building on the cultural significance of jewelry in India, the Mettis are toe-rings that are state-of-the-art yet culturally relevant. These toe-rings come embedded with the same technology as any fitness wearable, in a package that embraces traditional values.
This project was mentored by Mahendra Chauhan (Titan Design Head) and Dr. Krishnesh Mehta & co-mentored by Praveen Nahar (Director NID)
OZE COVID TEST KIT
Empowering households to self diagnose COVID
Putting his resources to good use during the pandemic and the ensuing global lockdown, Indian designer Anshuman Kumar has designed a conceptual device that can help rapidly scan and diagnose people for diseases by checking their bodies for fever, as well as testing their blood for the pathogen.
The OZE isn’t just another hand-held thermometer… it’s a state-of-the-art testing device (with Pininfarina’s brand aesthetic) that allows you to diagnose people for not one, but several viruses.
BLACK PANTHER FACE MASK
Breathe in Pandemic
This project was carried out as a weekend exploration to design a comfortable face mask of N95 grade without compromising the ease of use and breathability for longer hours of usages.
Inspired from black panther's face cut, bringing out its unique grace adding a distinct character to the lifestyle of the wearer. The ear clip structure is derived from conventional eyewear considering the low resting stress while putting on.

Concept AQI Monitoring Drone
i-KAAN is a conceptual mini drone that lets users have an immersive experience while flying it. It has 2 multidirectional powerful thurst motors perfectly placed at the right angle across the frontal fins. Third motor is placed at the tail end to guide the direction and maintain CG of the overall volume.
